Potato evening

It was a calm evening with less traffic and I came home a little early with my hubby yesterday. We decided to prepare Potato Wedges. When potatoes were boiling, we ran washing machine simultaneously. That machine had some clog in water supply and we lost a little time in making it work again, And the potatoes got overcooked.
I tried frying them and they couldn't retain their shapes thus.

Nitu told me to make aaloo chat out of them! and guess wat? It worked well  Just added chat masala, chilly powder, salt and mango powder to fried, and remaining boiled aaloos and mashed everything to make that.

We enjoyed it thoroughly only till a few more spoons and then decided to buy pooris for it could easily be converted into golgappe. While Nitu was off to buy pooris, I was done with Paani

We added a handful of chopped onions, a little coriander leaves to aaloo chat and it turned into golgappa filling . This filling was special since they had half of those fried potatoes to add to the taste.....
I guess its not needed to explain how slurpingly we filled those pooris with potato filling and paani, and ate them all... Those Potato wedges- turned to aaloo chat - finally camouflaged as superb golgappas were worth drooling.
